Import Beers
Palma Louca Pale Pilsner, A German Pilsner
Brewer: Cervejaria Kaiser, Jacarei, Brazil
Testimony: This is a good beer to have since I was in a Brazilian
eatery. There is a
fairly light aroma to this beer. The beer is clear golden, about the same
hue
of Miller Lite but a better taste. There is a hint of
sweetness to it. No bitterness at all.
Xingu Black Beer, Euro Dark Lager
(pronounced "shin-goo")
Brewer: Cervejaria Sul Brasileira, Toledo, Brazil
Testimony: An opaque, full-bodied black lager with mild bitterness.
Pours a dark cola brown with a bubbly beige colored head
that dies within a matter of seconds. Some dark bready, toffee-malt presence with a light, clean aroma. No discernable
hop aroma. Mostly sweet, I expected a bit of hoppy dryness to cut through,
but the carbonation alleviated the sweetness. It does stay sweet all the
way through to the finish. Light palm nut and chocolate notes. Pretty low
in ABV, so the sweetness isn't too overwhelming.
